An Eco-friendlier Alternative to Disposable Nappies
A new arrival in the Co-op's product offerings is an environmentally
friendly nappy system, the Weenees Pouch Pants and Disposable Pads.
The Weenee Design range is the ideal alternative for families who don't
want to spend more time than they have to in the laundry, soaking and
washing soiled nappies, and don't want to use disposable nappies that
clog
up landfills and take decades to break down. Weenees pads are 100% biodegradable
as they contain no plastic, unlike typical disposable nappies. They
are absorbent, hygienic, simple to use and easy to dispose of via
the compost or even down the loo (if you tear them up first!).
The Weenees waterproof Pouch Pants include a removable inner waterproof
pouch and can be used with a folded cloth nappy or a Weenees Disposable
Pad. The pants sell for $24.95 inc. GST, and the pads come in a pack
of 20 for $26.35 inc. GST (less 5% discount for members).
This is an Australian-designed product and a big jump forward in nappy

provided!
