Hello again,
The end of an era draws near as Alan Harrington hands the managerial
hat over to Karen Syrmis, who has hit the ground running in her new
role as general manager - we're all very excited to have her on board.
While Alan will still be seen around the traps, we felt now was the
most pertinent time to show him our gratitude for his invaluable contribution
to the Co-op and UpFront Club. You'll find Ruth Parnell's tribute to
Alan on pages 4 and 5 - a heartfelt insight into this quietly spoken
leader who has enabled our Co-op to thrive.
A reminder: members who haven't renewed their subscription by 1 September
2008 will be deemed unfinancial and therefore not entitled to any discounts.
So people, pay your $11 at the Co-op ASAP to stay financial.
