What's on at the Club

While on the subject of websites, the UpFront Club's site is a great resource for checking what entertainment is on offer – whether this week or months in advance. Danny Rose, who books musicians to appear at the Club, compiles a What's On list of scheduled performers (it's so extensive, I don't have space in this newsletter to mention every act for the next two months!). Many of these acts have their own websites, and links are provided so you can find out more about them.

The site, maintained by webmaster Garry Claridge, has a Scrap Book section, which currently features some colourful photos from Jill Jordan's 60th birthday party last November, and a Links section, which connects to websites of local identities and organisations including Maple Street Co-op.

Visit the website at http://www.upfrontclub.org and, better still, visit the Club for a meal, a drink and some entertainment (phone 5494 2592). Newcomers unfamiliar with the venue will find it at 31 Maple Street, Maleny, next door to Maple Street Co-op.
