AGM on 28 November 2006

The Annual General Meeting of the Maple Street Co-operative Society Limited will be held at The UpFront Club on Tuesday 28 November from 6.30 pm.

Refreshments will be provided and we ask that members confirm their attendance in advance for catering purposes. Please advise the Co-op staff at the shop counter.

A Special General Meeting will be held after the AGM to put a Special Resolution to members to alter a rule so that the Board may borrow up to $2 million on behalf of the Co-op. The current amount that the Directors are authorised to borrow is $300,000. Members please note that these rules were set up under the Qld Co-operatives Act 1997, and that the amount that $300,000 could buy at that time would not gain the same commodity value at today's rates.

The official Notice of the 27th AGM and other reports will be distributed at the Co-op and The UpFront Club by late October.
