Letters to the editor
Co-op members have been asking us to run a Letters to the Editor page for years. So, folks, here it is! This is your forum, a space to air your views, discuss matters of importance relating to the Co-op and UpFront Club, and issues affecting our local and global community.
The purpose of our Letters section is to promote healthy, intelligent debate and to share ideas - not to attack those who disagree with our own viewpoint.
No nastiness or mudslinging please!
The Letters section is intended to run over two pages in future, however we've added an extra page this time so as to clarify our intention and also due to the quantity of letters generated by Jon Woodlands' global warming article featured in our last issue.
Please note our disclaimer on the inside front cover states that the views expressed in this publication are those of the individual authors and not ncessarily those of Maple Street Co-op, the UpFront Club or the Co-op News team.
Email your letters to MSCN.letters@gmail.com or send them to Maple Street Co-op, 37 Maple St, Maleny QLD 4552. Please include your name, address and phone number. Anonymous letters will not be published. Letters may be edited for purposes of space or clarity and should not exceed 300 words.
